I have updated a friends computer to Office 97 and in his haste he removed MS Works even though he has many files written in Works. Now all his documents are opening in photviewer??? Is there any way of automating the conversion so that all files appear as a MS Word (Office 97) file?

4. Printing problems after crash in Office X for Mac
I am using Mac OS 10.1.5. some of the system directories got deleted accidently. I reinstalled the system. Word documents do not print, they go off into space and don't show up in any printer window when checked, nor will preview work. Excel prints fine. I cannot print anything out of word or get a preview. I removed office and reinstalled and still no printing.
5. Where to find MS PROJECT newsgroup for support?
Does anyone know where I can look to find this type of user-focused support for MS Project? I need help printing Network Diagrams and the HELP pull-down is not helpful. Thanks! Bill

I have 2000 installed on my new computer and it was working.  Now every time 
I try to open my excel spreadsheets, it asks me for the key to install my 
trial version of 2003.  Can someone tell me how to make 2000 my default 
again?  I don't want to be out the money to purchase 2003 when 2000 works 
fine for me.

2.my .doc files won't open anymore

I am using word office 2003 for some reason I am not able to get into all of 
my files since Feb 28 of this year. what has happened? keeps saying a fatal 
errors has occured and asks if I  want to send the error report? I have 
uninstalled and reinstalled and this has not helped anyone else here have 
this problem I have a bundle of important .doc's I can not access anymore!!!

4.pdf file won't open in word anymore

I have a pdf file saved which I have been able to open in Microsoft Office 
Word 2007 until a couple of days ago.  I have also downloaded a lot of pdf 
files, but cannot open them in word either.  If I open Adobe and then the 
files they work ok, but I was just wondering why I can not longer access them 
through Word.

5.OE won't open .eml files anymore

I posted this is question in the OE Stationery Group without a response so 
I'm posting here hoping to get some help.

I can't open my saved .eml files in Outlook Express anymore.  Now when I 
select the file it opens in Window Livemail.  How can I get .eml files to 
open in Outlook Express 
again.  Thanks for the help.

PS:  I tried right clicking on the .eml file and selected Open With but 
Outlook Express was not listed as an option.  After playing with it for a 
while it eventually showed Outlook Express as an option but when I selected 
it, I got an error message saying Outlook Express could not open this type of 
file.  Strange.
