Office 4.3 - Missing diskette #1
by Jadeloft » Thu, 12 Feb 2004 12:45:59 GMT
I have disk #2 through #20 which I purchased a long time
ago but I cannot find my initial setup disk #1. Is there
a way to order just this disk???
Since then I have purchased Office 97 upgrade and it will
only install if I have disk #1 from my Office 4.3. This
is probably how I misplaced disk #1 in the first place.
Any help is appreciated!!!

2.Installing Word 6 from Office 4.3 diskettes
I've got Office 4.3 on 24 diskettes. I only want to install the Word 6,
not the other Office programs. But the diskettes are not labelled that
way. They're just numbered 1 through 24. Do I have to go through all
24 disks and install the whole Office suite? Is there any way I can
just install the Word?
Thanks for any help.

3.MS Office 4.3 Pro with Excel 5.0c
Hi All,
This is probably a strange question
Is there ANY possibility that I can still download this software anywhere.
I've an old (but very good) 50000 lines Macro 4 program causing my Excel
2000 to crash.
My old disks aren't trustworthy anymore.
The main thing is the Excel 5.0c but the office 4.3 pro should be better.
Indeed I'm an antiquity :):):)
Nevertheless for me important.
Hoping in a solution for which I'm grateful.
Kind regards
Eric
Does Microsoft store such archive things on the net in FTP directories or
something?

5.Installing Office 4.3 Professional
I would like to install Office 4.3 Professional onto a
new computer (XP). Evidently, disk 1(3.5") is unreadable,
reason unknown.
1. Is there any way to get the disk replaced?
2. If not, what is easiest / least expensive way to get a
version Office to install?
3. Can I buy / install a update version based on my
ownership of Office 4.3 Professional (even though it's
not installed)?
I am not too concerned about the how old the version is
as most people I deal and work with use older software.
Thank you,
Gary Daniel
