Hi there, I recently installed Windows Vista Business and just tried to install Office 2003 Professional Edition but it says it cannot find or access mapisvc.inf. I found the file, but I can't seem to change its properties to allow it to be modified, etc. When I click edit, the check boxes seem to be greyed out (opaque). P.S. I ran setup.exe as Administrator. Please help!

The box says requires windows 2000 or windows xp or later
operating system. I have windows 98. Does the or later
mean later like 98 or later versions of window 2000? I
have a hewlett packard pavilion 6530 with a intel celeron
processor 433MHz. The box also says requires pentium with
233 MHz or higher. Please tell me if I Will be able to use
this program on my computer?
Thank you for your help.

No. WIndows 98 was released in 1998, and Windows 2000 was released in 1999.

You need either Windows 2000 SP=3 or greater or Windows XP. Windows Server
2003 is also a supported platform. Any of the 9x flavors of Windows (which
you have) cannot run this software.

So, if I understand you correctly, you appear to think that Windows *98* was
released *after* Windows *2000*?! Maths obviously isn't your strong suit.
How can Windows 98 (released in, erm, 1998) have been released /after/
Windows 2000 (released in, erm, 2000)?!

Not a lot of thought went into that post, obviously...
