So I just got a computer with XP home and I installed the office 97 that I had on my win 98 machine. I went through the updates and downloaded them, but now neither work or excel will start up after I ran the updates. Do I have to uninstall them and start over? Do the updates need to be installed in a certian order? Or am I ok without all of them? Jeff

I work in a small business office, and someone deleted unused programs from
WinXP Professional. How can I restore the deleted programs without having to
reinstall the entire disk? How can I reinstall just MS Access?

Hi Cas,

If you have Microsoft Office XP Professional Edition listed in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel you should be able
to select it and change which Programs and features from that edition are installed. If it shows MS Office Access as already
installed when you look at the feature settings then you may want to use that same area's choice for 'Repair/Reinstall' because the
method used to 'remove' the program may have been with a 3rd party product that the Office programs would not be aware of. You will
need the MS Office XP Professional CD, or MS Office XP Admin Installation point (if it was installed from a server at your
business).

Does office xp professional 2002 have a limited number of downloads before
it expires? I have downloaded it several times to my old computer and am
