  • 1. XP service pack 3 Install problem
Even when I download and try to install the full file version of SP3, I get prompted to find an Outlook 2002 file called OUTRET.MSI (I even have my original disks, but when I tried to use them, it said it couldn't find the file, so I resorted to Plan B and went with the full file install that supposedly bypasses the need for a disk). So what do I do now? I'm having problems coverting a PPT file to a PDF, and according to the error reporting gods, it's because I need to install SP3 . . .
  • 2. Cann't Install Office 2003 Service Pack (missing registry)
I cannot install Service Pack 3 to my Office 2003 Pro. I looked up an article on Microsoft Support (article ID 884298) titled "You cannot install an office 2003 service pack," and tried to follow the instructions to solve the problem. However, when I went down to step 2, where I am supposed to find a registry key (download_code subkey), it is not there on my computer. I think what happened was, I originally had Office 2003 Basic, and I uninstalled it, cleaned the Office registry keys, and then installed the Office 2003 Professional. Not sure if that was the reason that download_code subkey is missing from the registry. Without that, I could not go forward with the instructions to fix the problem. Could someone help please? Thanks a lot!
  • 3. SP1 for Office 2007 shoved down the Update pipe early???
Why was SP1 for Office 2007 put into the Update list so early? We were told it would be voluntary for as much as three months, yet I got it on two Vista computers? What's up with this? >>RSM

Can you please select Start >> Search. In that dialogue enter the name of
the file it says to see (Setup(00110.txt) and select search. When it finds
the file please attach the file to your message.
