i have project 2003 server. i know that network diagram in MS Project can not display in pwa. but my bos want that. Can I view a network diagram in PWA? is there any 3rd party component? thank you.

However, my Resource Manager would like to have the User Name (in Project Server) mapped to the User Logon Name (in AD). Is there any mechanism to get a notification when the project closes. There is an event "BeforeClose" (on Project document) or "ProjectBeforeClose" (on Project Application) which is fired when the document is ABOUT to be closed but BEFORE the user is presented an option to SAVE the document. Now the problem is, if the user is prompted to save the document the user has option to CANCEL which cancel's the CLOSE operation and the document is not closed, hence the BeforeClose or ProjectBeforeClose events are not really useful. Any mechanism to trap before the document is really closed? Ab - 5. Application objects

You are probably going to get a more comprehensive answer in the Project.server group. Apart from that, my understanding is no. Web pages are not good at showing large views like the network diagram often is and then zooming in and out and double-clicking for detail etc. Probably because of that Microsoft have not made it available in PWA and I do not remember seeing a 3rd party add-in. -- Rod Gill Project MVP Visit www.msproject-systems.com for Project Companion Tools and more

3.Annotating Network Diagram View
I am running Project2000. I wish to add annotation to the Network Diagram View of a given project. The annotation could be in any readable form that stays approx where I place it. Something akin to a "textbox" in Excel/Word/etc would be fine. There is no need for it to be linked to a task (but that option would be nice). I tried creating a new type of task box and linking the display to the task's Notes field. That works, but the box can be only "so big" and, thus, I am severely limited re how much text can be displayed for a given "text box". Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am pretty good with VBA and have done a modest amount of VBA for MSProject, so that will be my next avenue of exploration. But before I do that, I was hoping that I have overlooked something simplier. Thanks
I can see how to line up the network diagram in columns of days, weeks, or months. I can't see how to label each column. Is there a way. jlb
I am trying to print a network diagram. Even though I set the paper size to plotter (36 x 60), the image on this big sheet of paper is only standard A4 size, no matter I change the settings. The MS-Project has scaled down the chart and is hardly readable. I am using 2000 version. Pls. help on how to get the image to 100% scale on the big sheet of paper.
