- 1. Intelligent Stick USB Memory Device Problem
My daughter has a PQI (I think!) USB "Intelligent Stick" 64 mb Memory device - basically an external pen memory - for school use. I cannot get Windows XP to recognise this, despite downloading the driver from the PQI site, and asking Windows to scan for it. In theory it should simply recognise it as an external storage device in My Computer, but it does not. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance. Ian - 2. Com 3 port conflict?
I had a working PCI modem on com port 3. Recently com port 3 disappeared(?) with no warning, so that now it does not appear in the list of ports in device manager, and my modem diagostic says there is a conflict on com 3. I recently installed xp sp2, but I believe the port worked after that. How do I 'add' a com port? Is that wise? Cheers, BRich - 3. devtest unable to load helper device driver
I get this message when trying to run the Device Simulator tool supplied with the CD for Walter Oney's book "Programming the Microsoft Windows Driver Model". I have looked in the index and do not find any reference to it. I also tend to try to run things before I read the book thoroughly, is it mentioned in there ? hi: everybody,in windows ME,how to do to hook the multimedia key and do not let system process the key? I know,in win98,keyboardhook is enough,and in win2000,lowlevelhook is ok too. but in win ME,how to manage it? is hook ok,or I have to write a filter driver? Thanks!

Non ci sono, ci sono solo quelli del modello 600u e non del 600 mb!!

Dear All An installation problem My System: Toshiba laptop, satellite 1905-277, Windows XP Home Edition I tried to install the LG 600P-EPP flatbed scanner. Installation consists of three programs namely: Xerox TextBridge MGI Photo Suite TaskBridge Driver TWAIN I choose to install all. At the end it gives the following error message: windows name: TBridge.exe error Can't find UI3RD_32.dll I searched the installation CD for the said file but couldn't find. What should I do to install it. Also I thought TWAIN is a brand name but seams that it is a general technical word and has something to do with Scanners.
