  • 3. CSC Folder "Access Denied"
Hi, I have a user that gets an "Access Denied" when trying to access the c:\windows\CSC folder. The user had an issue with his synchronising so instead of re-initilising the offline files he deleted the contents onthe CSC folder. Now that the contents are in the recycle bin he is unable to empty the recycle bin. I had the user browse the CSC folder and found that he gets access denied. I cant work this issue out. I have tried to reinitilise the folder, same problem. He is able to access his files off line no issues. Thought that it could be a profile problem, I logged in as admin and tried to empty deleted items but same issue, also gave the user admin rights and he still cant empty the recycle bin. Any help would be much appreciated.
  • 4. XP System Restore "Kelly"
Have you tried to open System Restore in Safe Mode? Restart your computer and press F8 before the Windows XP screen starts. When you get to a window that asks if you want to use enter Safe Mode or System Restore click NO. This will bring you right to the SR window and hopefully it will not be blank. Then restore the PC to an earlier restore point. Good luck. -- That's just like my opinion, Man........ "Kayceegrace" wrote: > Please excuse the re-posting. Fles Extracted from Iso File are Larger Than CD can Hold

Postby drks » Wed, 05 Oct 2005 03:04:29 GMT

I downloaded an ISO file which was about 560 Mb but when I extracted
the files with Iso Buster the files were 1.03 GB. I want to know how
this can be done and how can I create a similar Iso file for the
software I have.

The application UltraISO will do that from a CD-ROM or Virtual CD-ROM. ISO
is also a compression format not just an archiving format I believe. But to
tell you the truth an ISO of 1.03 GB when extracted was not made to write to
a CD-ROM.

Programs like UltraISO can optimize a CD. Where a CD has two identical files
instead of the files both being copied to the CD only one is copied and a
link is put in that points to the file. This can save a lot of space when
there are lots of duplicate files.

Thanks, I had tried UltraIso earlier but didn,t notice the Optimize

It's probably an ISO of a DVD image, not CD.

4.CAN'T EXTRACT ISO FILE

I downloaded Vista from Microsoft's site, but cannot burn onto DVD. AFter the
downlaod, it was a Winrar file, and when I try to extract the files, all i
get is a readme.txt that says "This disc contains a "UDF" file system and
requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification."

Is there a special software I need? Why can't i extract the ISO file? I am
sure the complete file is there, as the Winrar file is 3,276,952 KB in size.
ANy suggestions?
