Greetings!

I have a need to back up the hard drives of several computers, both PC and
RISC OS. 

It occurs to me that I could do this on a PC using an external USB device
containing a hard drive. But has anyone tried this on a RISC PC using the
Simtec USB podule?

Grateful for any experience - good or bad - which fellow RISC OS users may
be able to share!

I am interested to know if anyone can recommend a cheap "plug n play" USB
pen drive from a widely known stockist?

I appreciate that USB2 is here but as I ain't got it and need a quick
solution please ignore that fact.

Hi

With an increasing number of computers dotted around the house I'm 
looking for a straightforward method of backing up data.

I think the elegant solution would be a networked HDD but I think 
they're a bit pricy and AIUI most of them use an odd filing system 
which may not be compatible with RISC OS. So I was wondering if anyone 
has any experience of using a USB portable HDD with RISC OS (pref 
A9home) and any hardware recommendations.
