    I am using Openwave SDK 4.1 with VS.net 2003, i have two text boxes which will ask for username and password and according to it the program will decide whether to bring the user to the next page or not... It works perfectly in the IE browser, however, when i try to use it on the UP.Simulator provided with the SDK, text that user input does not seems to be recongised by using TextBox.Text ... no matter what the user type, TextBox.Text will return an empty string... Is there anyone know how to solve this problem? I have no idea what could cause this... Thanks in advance Tony

Will there be a visual studio 2010 express edition with an ability to write
c# mobile device applications?
i would like to write a windows mobile 6 sound changer program and a file
extensions editing tool. i looked in the win mobile 6.1 registry and in my
oppinion it should be very easy to do it. the only problem for me is to find
a freeware developer tool so i can get started. :/

4.User Controls (I am new to win forms dev)

Hello Everyone,
I have a solution that consists of two projects. The Win user control
library and win forms project. The purpose of the windows forms project is
to be a container for everything that goes on the user control. My question
is if I have a win form and I drag and drop user control on it and I have a
button on that user control on click of which I have to show another win
form from the Windows form project that will hold different user control.
And also how do I pass values back and forth between the forms.

This architecture is mandated to me.

Thanks

5.working with dynamically generated PDF with Win Mobile browser

Hi,

I have a page that dynamically generates a PDF file using
ActiveReports.

The code that does it looks like this.

m_stream.Position = 0;  //this is memory stream
Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";
Response.BinaryWrite(m_stream.ToArray());
Response.End();

Of course this is only a part of the code, but the point is, I am
using the Response object to make this happen.

This works beautifully with the desktop browser. The Acrobat reader
launches, and I see the PDF file inside the browser. But not so with
Win Mobile 6.0 IE.

* The PDFViewer does not launch

* It asks me if I want to save

* So I say yes. It saves with the .ASPX extension!

* And it does not let me change the extension. I am stuck with the
ASPX extension, and there is no tool in WinMobile 6.0 that I know of
that would allow me to do that.

Thanks in advance.
