I have a Motorola T720 phone. Does anyone know if it is possible to dial a number from the browser with this phone? I've tried <Mobile:PhoneCall>, but either my phone doesn't support it or I'm doing something wrong. Any hints would be appreciated! Thanks! Brad.

Hi I developed a mobile web application using Visual Studio 2003. It runs fine on PDA, Samsung A600, and even on the desktop. But when I test it with Openwave device simulators I get following errors: 1) Openwave 6.2: Intial input page comes correctly, but when I click submit it gives "Malformed page error". 2) Openwave 6.1: Intial input page comes correctly, but when I click submit it gives "request timed out". Any suggestions why this might be happening. I have been bugged by this for the last two days without any resolution. Is there any special configuration required. Earliest reply will be appreciated. mobile pages on Nokia 3650

Postby Koen Hoorelbeke » Thu, 08 Jan 2004 23:19:54 GMT

Hi there,

I've developed a mobile site (IMode specifically, but is actually a normal
mobile site) of our website. However when I try to go there with a Nokia
3650 (i-mode compatible), I get "Bad answer from origin server". All the
other phones I tested it with do work.

I suspect it is somewhere a setting on the server, but don't really know
where to look.

Any help, tips, suggestions are very welcome. I'm getting a bit desperate.

Tx in advance.

Koen Hoorelbeke.

uk............ Any help!!!! Mobile Forms authentication on Nokia Mobile Browser 4.0

Hi All

Ive written a portal mobile portal in that I want to secure to
only authenticated users. I am having great difficulty doing this, as
when I test in the nokia wap simulator 4.0 (most of the users will
have nokia browsers) I cant seem to store any state.

When I authenticate the user, NMB 4.0 doesnt reflect the persisted
information. THe web config file is set to not use cookies and the
state is persisted if I test it with a an actual nokia 6230(GPRS), the
open wave simulator and also normal IE browser. Any Help is

Dim username As String = "RyanMalone"
Dim strRole As String = AssignRoles(username)

after leaving
'the site if he doesn't log off.
