I have created a class libary and installed the CmsSslHttpModule into my Cms project. The HttpModule seems to be doing what is intended, step in debug mode and it determines that my channel has RequireSSL set to yes and that it needs to redirect to https://... My issue is that when the redirect happens the browser displays the following: The page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Wen site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings. I have install a certificate to the default web site (ie one created using Office 2003 selfcert.exe). What else do I need to do, or am doing wrong?

Purpose of AreAuthCmdsVisible() in CMS 2001

Hi all

I am currently in the process of converting a CMS 2001 site into an ASPX
enabled CMS 2002 site - what is the purpose of the AreAuthCmdsVisible()
function being called within the 2001 ASP pages and is there an equivalent
function in CMS 2002?

Thanks as always

Hi Shivonne,

this method allows you to determine if the authoring commands in the edit
console are visible.
E.g. Authoring Preview, Save, Save & Exit, Cancel

Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan

Is there a similar function in CMS 2002 that I can use at all?

Hi Shivonne,

sure: please check the WebAuthorContext.Mode property.
If this property has the value WebAuthorContextMode.AuthoringNew or
WebAuthorContextMode.AuthoringReedit you will see these controls. You even
could see if you are seeing the save new or save & exit button.

Cheers,
Stefan
