  • 3. automatic checking of spell check
Hi there, a couple questions, 1. does the spell checker in MCMS require microsoft word to be installed or is it independant of any other spell checker? i.e. if a user had lotus notes instead of office, would it still work? 2. Anyone have ideas on how to implement an automatic spell check on save - or at least find out if the user has executed the spell checker and if not warn them upon saving and exiting? thanks - matt
  • 4. Web crawlers and CMS Web site
We are evaluating the need to go for Microsoft's CMS tool. We have a content rich Web site with tons of useful information for agriculture marketing Lot of our users come to our Web site through various search engines (Google et al). CMS puts all the content in the database and I believe no web crawlers would be able to index our pages when we switch to the CMS based model First thing we would like to know from the forum users is, if that is the case. If so, then is there a work around If not, then I guess it won't be wise for us to for such a tool I will highly appreciate any advice/information on this subject Thanks.
  • 5. Importing a large number of resources
I would like to import all of the resources from one CMS database to another. Site Deployment is not very effective because the sdo files are huge, even if I break it down to galleries. Is there a script I could run against the databases to perform the transfer?

Hi ,
Is there any way to initialize Placeholder text dynamically, when page is
loaded while creating new page(posting) , I use the placeholder.html = value
, and nothing happens, and I also try to change the datasource but visually
the placeholder remains empty... ???
