                 Thats also good. The ipcrm commands I gave you were an 
example based on the prior output you sent. They aren't needed if the 
ipcs is clean.

Hi  k.saravanan

Whoa - OI 1.2/01 on SCO! Now that's a blast from the past.

As I see it, you have two problems. The first is the data load to the new 
installation. The second is getting the original installation back up.

My suspicions about your copy problems are:
1. The table that rollsback after a few hours.
	I suspect that its not bulk loading, but has started incremental 
logging. Hence it takes forever, and eventually fills up your Transaction 
log and goes into rollback.

	Ensure that the sequence of events in the copy.in is create 
table, copy table from ..., modify table to structure.

2. The errors on 'p_and_f'. I'm going to guess that the data source is an 
ASCII unload. If so you should be actually able to examine the data file 
in the editor and see what value it is trying to load on row 2.

	Exactly what is the definition of this 'p_and_f' column? These 
don't look like date errors. 

As for restarting the old Ingres server.
Before you attempt to restart it, was your Ingres Transaction Log on the 
disk that completely failed? Is it a raw device? Exactly what was on that 
disk, data? journal whatever. How was the stuff from the old disk 
moved to the new disk.
