  • 1. Sending e-mail using Exchange profile - reading from inbox
    Our application is built in asp.net and we are looking for a way to send an e-mail notification (via exchange). We have gotten the System.Web.Mail to send an e-mail, but we need the e-mail written to the "Sent messsages" folder. This allows us to monitor the inbox of our "Application Account". We will need to look for and reconcile undeliverable e-mails using the inbox and the sent items. I haven't seen any messages or examples that discuss which technology to use in this scenario.     Arrgghhh !! Why do I keep losing intellisense on typed datasets ? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Is it anything to do with available memory ?
  • 3. Optional DEVPATH
    I have a DEVPATH set on my computer. What I want to achieve is if I run an application through the IDE I want try to find the dlls in the path that DEVPATH states first. And if I run my application directly, use the gac version of the dlls. Could I use some kind of .config settings ? Thanks, - Saurabh

    I am trying to format bytes and characters in a hexadecimal format that is preceeded with Zeros. I found some information in the help section "Custom Numeric Format Strings" and "Standard Numeric Format Strings Output Examples" but am unable to get it to work properly. I can print by using the following code byte data; for (int i = 0; i < 30; i++) { data = (byte)i; System.Console.Out.Write("{0:x} ", data); } But this only displays 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 1a 1b 1c 1d I would like 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 and eventually use it for characters to display 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 ... I'm trying to create an Add-in but New Project/Project Types/Other Projects only displays Database Projects.

What I can't do?

I am trying to reinstall viusal basic.net 2003 standard but whenever i try, 
it says "insert prerequisite disc" and then it cycles through loading a 
webcam program, and then uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. 
Can anyone help me get past the prerequisite disc?
