Hello My domain is mydomain.com and all users use XXXX@XXXXX.COM as local users. I have an account ( XXXX@XXXXX.COM ). This account is created as both exchange/local account in my Exchange2003 server and the same account ( XXXX@XXXXX.COM ) as pop3/external account on ISP mail server. I want every local users, whenever they want to send a message to XXXX@XXXXX.COM , this message forwarded to the POP3 account ( XXXX@XXXXX.COM ), not Local account. Now, as ordinary, whenever the local users sent email to XXXX@XXXXX.COM , Exchange Server recognize that this message is for local account to deliver it to local SMS acount. I want that this emails forwarded it to the pop3 account. How I can do that? is it possible by creating a rule? (I means all emails sent to XXXX@XXXXX.COM forwarded to the pop3 account not exchange account) how? Thanks so much

Windows 2003 SBS with Exchange 2003 at SP2 and all current hotfixes. User A sends a message to User B on the same server. This is not external email. The email will sometimes get there and sometimes does not. When the email does not get there User A will get a bounce message: You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator. MSEXCH:MSExchangeIS:/DC=local/DC=XXX:SERVERNAME. The crazy thing is that sometimes the mail gets there and still get the same bounce message. It only happens between these two users and no one else. The only thing I can think that may cause some sort of issue is that they both use the same computer at home through a VPN. It's the owner and his wife and they have separate Outlook profiles under the same login.

Hello, I have a Lanier email\scanner that will not send via the Exchange 2003 Default SMTP virtual server I can see the connection in the urrent Connectionsbut it just sit there and never sends. If I change the scanner to send to my old 5.5 server the messages send without a problem. Also other scanners on different subnets are working fine. I did some testing and this is where it gets stuck. 220 emailserver.domain.com Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 6.0.3790.1830 ready at Tue, 12 Sep 2006 23:03:05 -0400 MAIL FROM: XXXX@XXXXX.COM 503 5.5.2 Send hello first Thanks for the help!

Hi, If a web certificate is issued to a user and stored in his Current User certificate store, what is the roaming boarder for that certificate? That is, using another machine in the same domain, will the user need to download the certificate again? What about a machine from another domain or workgroup? Thanks Yba

Exchange 2007 converts mails from/to html when using WebDAV

Postby Beat Rubischon » Sat, 20 Sep 2008 05:21:12 GMT

Hello!

I'm connecting my Entourage 2008 over WebDAV to my employers Exchange
server. Since the move from Exchange 2003 to 2007 I see two strange
problems:

- All plaintext Mails downloaded from the Exchange 2008 are converted to
  HTML

- All HTML mails sent through the Exchange 2008 are converted to plaintext

It looks like the WebDAV connector on Exchange 2008 uses some "filtering"
which alters (destroys) my mails. Intensive Googeling showed two referencies
in the net about the same problem - both were unanswered.

As a workaround I switched to POP / SMTP loosing the calendar and contacts
sync to the Exchange account.

Is there any switch on the Exchange side to disable this behaviour? I'm
working for a really small company and the mail administrator does
everything for me :-)

The Microsoft Mac community may have a better handle on this issue than we
would here - you may want to post your question in the
microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage newsgroup. Sorry I don't have a handy
answer!

3.Mail Relay converting mail from HTML format to Plain Text format

We have a database sever that is sending email outbound via our Mail
Relay servers. The database server is sending email in HTML format.
The problem is that when the email in HTML formate hit our Mail Relay
servers, our Mail Relay servers convert it to plain text format.

Is there any way to fix, modify or by pass this conversion?

4.Force Exchange 2003 to convert all outbound mail to HTML or RT

5.Plain text mail is converted to html

I am running OL2002 on Win XP Pro on both a desktop and laptop in a large
network. The network was recently converted from NT Server to Exchange
Server 2003. At that time, all of my mail began being converted from plain
text to html. This appears to be only on both machines accessing my
account. If I send a message in plain text mode, it is received by others
as plain text, but converted to html in my Sent folder. Plain text sent to
me is converted to html upon receipt. Since this happens on both machines,
I think it is something to do with the server settings, but those appear to
be correct. In addition, this only happens when Outlook is connected to the
Exchange server. If I choose "Work Offline" at login, text mail appears as
text. Although there are serveral annoying aspects to this, the worst is
that the html conversion includes FONT SIZE=2 tags which renders things
pretty unreadable at my default screen resolution.

The network administrator checked the global settings and they
appear correct (I watched.) Any ideas, anyone. Any help would be
apprecitated. It's driving me nuts.
