Dear All, Kindly, I have notes Event ID 4 reappear at Exchange cluster system log. Could you advice? Event Type: Error Event Source: Kerberos Event Category: None Event ID: 4 Date: 6/16/2007 Time: 11:12:36 PM User: N/A Computer: EXCL02 Description: The Kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server host/excl02.qfca.local. The target name used was EX01. This indicates that the password used to encrypt the Kerberos service ticket is different than that on the target server. Commonly, this is due to identically named machine accounts in the target realm (QFCA.LOCAL), and the client realm. Please contact your system administrator. • 3. FQDN does not match DNS resolved name - no email!
Hi, I have MS Exchange 2003 set up with SBS 2003. I've configured and set up a lot of things on SBS and most features are working, but I'm not having much luck with sending and receiving emails on Exchange. I have set Exchange up to collect emails from my ISP email accounts and then distribute to the relevant mailboxes on exchange. I've used the message tracking center facility and exchange seems to be downloading all emails from the ISP but they are not making their way from exchange to Outlook 2003 on the client's PC. In addition to this emails are not being sent either. In both cases I do not receive any error notifications via email. I've run Troubleshooting Assistant and get back the following messages: Authoritative SMTP domain not found in metabase Test message is sitting in one of the SMTP queues SMTP instance fully qualified domain name does not match DNS resolved server name. I've tried and tried but what I need now is some advice on the likely solutions. I've looked at the Microsoft help pages but haven't had any success on the back of them. Hope someone can help me!!
  • 4. 2000-2007 - How to move public folders? Guides are wrong!
Hi All, I am transitioning from 2000 and want to move the system and user public folders, but unfortunately the nice easy way referred to in Technet and in the updated readme claim exchange 200x can just right click and move all replica's. I have scoured all my resources and can only claim that E2k3 WITH SP2 adds this luxury. So what is the best way then to accomplish this? I am concerned because when i look at the replication status on the system folders it shows data unavailable. On the 2007 server, i can query the folder store and show the folders! Thanks!

Hi --

We have Exchange Server 2003 with 25 CAL's. We are planning a migration to
Exchange Server 2007. Is there a license upgrade option?

Go and talk to your software reseller and they will sell you the right
things. You can't ask licensing questions here.

2.upgrading MSDN license to Volume Enterprise license

HELP.

My boss wants me to install exchange using our MSDN license and then later
(I don't know when) he wants me to change that to an enterprise volume
license.

I have requested that he obtain the media for the enterprise exchange 2003
but he keeps insisting that it is ok to use the MSDN.

In my book this is wrong, but is there a procedure for doing just this?

I only want to install exchange once.

If I'm running Exchange 2000 right now and want to upgrade to 2003, do I
have to buy new 2003 licenses outright, or is there some way to upgrade the
2000 licenses?

4.License uebernehmen bei SBS Upgrade

Hallo NGler

Ich habe den Upgrade von SBS2000 auf SBS2003 von einem
lokalen IT Consultant machen lassen.

5.Change License Key and Upgrade from Standard to Ent

I would like to know if there is a way to change the serial number of our
Exchange Server 2003 Standard installation, without reinstalling or affecting
the current user base, because we entered in the incorrect key from an
already existing server setup in our organization.
I would also like to know if we can do an in-place upgrade from Exchange
Server 2003 Standard to Enterprise on a different server.

Thanks for all your help.
