Is there any solution - whether Microsoft or third party software - to fix the interconnectivity issue between Exchange 2003 and Lotus Domino in regards to changes to recurring meetings bouncing? This is a huge issue for us as Executives that have been migrated over from Lotus Notes to Exchange/Outlook are not receiving updates to changed recurring meetings - causing them to miss meetings.

how can I see how much space is used by Deleted items folders

Postby Gary T » Wed, 29 Oct 2003 01:08:02 GMT

I need to see how much space is being used for deleted
items on a exchange 2000 server. When using system
manager, the deleted items column doesn't reflect what is
in the users deleted items folders. In fact the users with
0 in the deleted items column seem to have the most
deleted items. If I could see a breakdown of each users
deleted items that would be optimum. Any utilies or
downloads anyone know of?

1.Public Folders Seen using Outlook but not seen in OWA

I have several public folders where the default and anonymous users have no
access (folders invisble). The users that have rights to the folders see
then just fine using Outlook via exchange but the same user logs onto Outlook
Web Access and the public folder is not seen.

What did I do wrong here?

2.Deleted items in the wrong Deleted Items Folder

Hi there

I have a problem with one of my users.

We are running W2k3 witch Exchage 2003.

She have her own mailbox and a shared mailbox. When she deletes a mail from
the shared mailbox, the deleted mail goes into her own private deleted
items. When other user delete from the shared mailbox, the deleted mail goes
to the shared mailbox deleted items.

Even when she drag and drop a mail, the mail goes to her own private deleted
items. She have the same rights as the other users.

Does anyone have a clue whats wrong?

Thanks

3.Deleted items re-appearing in Deleted Items folder AFTER being emp

A user has reported that their deleted items folder has re-populated itself
with previously deleted and emptied items.

The user has not performed a Recover Deleted Items process.

Any help with this will be appreciated.

4.Permanently delete items in the Recover deleted items folder

I am trying to find out if there is a way to periodically permanently delete
items in the deleted folder and recover deleted items folder with out having
to Highlight and delete /permanently delete items manually. Is there
something I can do on the administrative side that would take care of that on
all the exchange mail boxes? I have researched but have never found an
answer yet. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you,
Melanie

5.Sharing folders using Outlook 2007 - user is seeing duplicate folders

I have an Outlook 2007 user who when they go to account settings -
>More Settings -> Advanced and add another user (user-2) to their
accounts, within Outlook 2007 the user sees two copies of every
contacts folder that user-2 shared with them.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Could it be a problem with my exchange servers?

Besides the user seeing duplicate folders, this also appears to break
some of our VB coding that uses the Outlook Object model because when
a user is in this state, the API does not show any contacts
subfolders.
