  • 1. Watchguard Firebox III, OWA and 2 Exchange Servers
Hi All, My Scenario: - Firebox III 1000 - 2 Exchange Servers (SBS 2003 and 2000) - 2 Public IP's NATed to Private IP's on the boxes - Firebox service configured (years ago) and ports 80 and 443 are open - Added new NAT to existing OWA rule and now allowing SBS traffic out through same rule - 2 NIC's in the SBS2003 box (which is the one I have the issue with) - Exchange 2000 OWA works fine (has for years) - Can trace all the way to the public IP on the FB (for the SBS box) - No traffic appears in FB logs for any port on the SBS server's IP (have enabled logging for both accepted and denied packets) - Can access OWA internally on SBS2003 server - ISA 2004 on SBS configured to allow all traffic through (temporarily) What am I missing? I cannot get a response from the server. Also have had a couple of people look at the FB and SBS with no progress or suggestions at all. Help greatly appreciated. Merrick

  • 4. PPTP over Zyxel NAT and win2003 server
Hi, I have a win2003 server behind a Zywal with full NAT. In the win2003 server I have 2 NIC's, each one with a privat IP and both public IP over NAT. The DHCP server is on another machine, win2000 server, in the same LAN. I setup a PPTP VPN (TCP/IP1723 fw and GRE on Zyxel). No VPN Zyxel firewal, only NAT. Parameters: auth=MS CHAPv2, encr=MPPE 128, compression MPPC >From LAN, the VPN is connected and autheticated >From outside (from WAN) I'm not authenticated! with netstat the port 1723 on server is open (this mean the firewall settings are ok... I suppose) Any ideea about this? Thanks a lot.

IP / modem

Hello,

When I want to access to my home computer with its public IP address, I
have the menu of the gateway (it's a USR9106).
In fact, after entering my ID and password, I'd like to access to the
explorer of windows, not to have the options of my gateway

How can I do that ?

thanks
Francois

VNC? Windows Remote Desktop?
Port forwarding?

But it seems you're mixing it with HTTP access to your gateway. There is
no general way to pass control and credentials to a remote desktop
session from an authenticated HTTP session, especially not without any
client software (besides that for VNC there are some Java applets).
