  • 1. Morph Tool! A Myth or Fact?
    does FW have a morph tool? I heard it did but can't find it!!! you know, something like when you have 2 imgs and you place one dot on one area of img 1 and to the corresponding area on img 2. anyway would do really, as long as it morphs!!! if not, does anyone know a good soft for that. something powerful? thanks

    Hello everyone. I created a template using fireworks.. is very simple template .. but i can't seems to slice the logo border and other part of the template needed to import into html table correctly.. i think i have sliced this template 20 times.. but yet , i can not make it look the way looks now when is set into table.. can anyone please help me slice this ? :} thanks
  • 3. FW command - bypass export dialog box
    I am trying to automate a process. The end goal is to open a file, run a command, have the command make various changes to the document, and export multiple different files in the process. In testing, I noticed that when you run a command with an option to export, the dialog box will always pause the command and require the manual typing of a file name. It wouldn't be that bad of a hinderance if I could just hit save quickly everytime the dialog box comes up. I can not, because the filename seems to always default to untitled-1, requiring me to change it each time so it doesn't overwrite the previus file export. I can always create a seperate rename script to run after the command, but It would be much better if the command would automatically export the same way I told it to when the command was created. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    im looking to design my page layout in fireworks, I have a gif image right now. when I change background of canvas, of course it leaves the white background around the gif file. i didnt create the image in fireworks..its just a design I took off the web. is ther eanyway to change the background of this to match so its not just a square with the image inside?
  • 5. Round corners of a bitmap?
    I have a photo I'd like to add to my webpage header and would like the corners to be hard (no feathering) but rounded. Is there a way to round the corners of bitmaps? And if it can be done, how? TIA

Hello,

 This just started to happen! My key pad on my lap top will lock up in FW 8. I 
have to go to note pad and type then return to FW to finish my project. This is 
very unusual, for my key pad works okay in DW and other programs. Do I have 
something turned on/off in FW that is causing this problem?
