- 1. Adding a picture to a movieclip in the background
Hi, First to explain what I am trying to do: I am using Flash 8 by the way.. I have a movieclip 'pad': var fullPath = "pic1.jpg"; _root.pad._x = 0; _root.pad._y = 0; _root.pad.loadMovie(fullPath); I then listen for mousemovements on pad, and when the user is detected on the pad (ie, when they have clicked) I call moveTo, lineStyle and lineTo methods respectively. The problem is that the lines the user draws appear behind the jpg that I loaded into pad. The reason that I want to use one movieclip instead of two (which I know works) is because I am using Flash 8's BitmapData class. I am using the BitmapData class to capture what is in the movie pad, and send it to php to create a jpg (ultimatley to capture the jpg, and the users annotations on top as one jpeg). So in a nutshell, is there anyway for the added jpg to appear in the background, so that the users lines can appear on top of the jpeg. I know this is a complex problem, If I have not explained it enough, please ask... Thanks... - 2. Enable and Disable layer

Hi I have this 2 items from my menu that people can drag and drop them to the stage by using attachMovie. So each of the item that is already on the stage can be deleted, rotated and a user can even find more information about that particular item. To do one of these actions they need to click on an item, and press a hotkey (let's say press "K") to open a menu (just like the right click menu on windows). Let's say I have 3 items on stage, how do you tell Flash to remember which item is active (or has just been clicked) and therefor pressing "K" on the keyboard will bring up a menu next to that item. Hi group I make a RFID program, which whork on any pocket PC with a compactFlash. I just have to know what is the number of the com port where the CompactFlash Slot is ? on mine is 8. for the moment i try to open all the com port until i get the one with the RFID reader. But sometimes another Com port (bluetooth in my case) reply. Co how can i know on which com port i have to work ? I am sure there is some registry key or something. thank you !

5.Flash Desktop App with Com Port
Does anyone have any idea how to build a Flask desktop application for windows that basically provides a nice GUI to send/recieve very basic data to/from a serial/com port? Cheers, Chris :-)
