1.Weird socket bug, 'Error #2031: Socket Error'
I'm putting together an application which opens a connection to a server, sends
a chunk of binary data and then closes the connection. When I run the
application without handing IOEventError, I get the socket error message below
but the data sends. When I handle IOEventError, I get the same message passed
to the handler but no data is sent. When I capture TCP data during the
connection, you can that without the handler a '[PSH, ACK]' packet of length 29
(my data) is sent out. With the handler, a '[FIN]' packet is sent instead. I've
pasted the errors, code and TCP traffic below.
Has anyone else encountered this socket weirdness? How do I figure out what
this error message means?
Thanks for the help!

2.FLV Issue...and it's weird weird weird
I have a playlist that shows thumbnails of each of the .flv's available. I
auto-start the first in the list and it plays just fine. If you select any of
the other 10+ that also will stop the 1st loaded FLV and start the one you
selected. If you go back and click the 1st one which auto-played...that also
stops the current flv and loads and starts that one just fine.
However......if you select any flv other than those 2...it stops the current
playing flv and then does absolutely nothing. So I'm wondering what the issue
is. Here's the code:
...After click Class Function......
_root.main.vPlayer.contentPath = _parent.flvFile;
_root.main.vPlayer.play();
...some other things in the class function not related to playing flv
I'm wondering if there's some type of issue with the file not being ready to
play...or getting confused...not sure. Any help appreciated.

4.Weird Blue Background in my swf's in IE
I'm having a problem with placing swf files in a web page. When I view the pages in a web browser, parts of the swf file seem to be a bright blue (as in the Blue Screen of Death color). The color seems to show up behind some of the elements.
I'm not sure why. Is this some obvious problem that anybody can help me with?
Gracias,
Mike
5.Weird compile error
Hi,
If have an issue with the CS3 AS2 compiler. When I have a class Main with a
static method called main I get the following error:
"The member function 'main' has a different case from the name of the class
being defined, 'Main', and will not be treated as the class constructor at
runtime.
