Netscape 7.2 crash
by fosaq » Mon, 05 Feb 2007 03:23:14 GMT
Hello.
First: I'm from Germany.
I use Windows XP SP2 including all the other updates and Netscape 7.2.
If a website uses flash and try to play a sound the browser crashes. I've got
the problem on all of my machines but only with Netscape 7.2. I have not tested
a higher version but all the other browsers (IE 7, Firefox 2, Opera 9) work. I
think I got this problem only with the version 9.0.28.0 of the flash player.
I can perform this crash even on the "Web Player Test" Page on the Flash
Player Support website. It works but if i move the mouse on the flash film the
browser will crash.
The Error Message is (german):
Ntscp.exe - Fehler in Anwendung
Die Anweisung in "0x300a8722" verweist auf Speicher in "0x194a08". Der Vorgang
"written" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgefrt werden.
Can anybody give me a hint how to resolve this problem?

5.FPlayer9.0.28 causes Netscape 7.2 to crash.
Hi!
After restoring my computer (PC/XP SP2) (20061220) with a Ghost image and
updating XP, flashplayer+shockwave, everytime I open a page that contains flash
animation/movies it may cause the browser to crash, eg I cannot watch YouTube
movies that are embedded/linked on someone elses page, but I can view them
directly on YouTube. When floating the pointer on the flash animation on
Yahoos homepage clicking "about" for FPlayer, the browser crashes. Generally
everytime there is a flash animation the browser might crash.
I have removed the browser and flash installations...rebooting... and
reinstalled still the same problem.
I removed the FPlayer 9.0.28 and installed the FPlayer 9.0.16 which I had
saved on a CD somewhere, the problem is now gone.
Any ideas, anyone had a similiar problem?
