Hi, I have a console that has a main VideoDisplay that will broadcast a live stream. I'm using FME 2.5 with FMS 3.02. What I would like to have the ability to run a looping FLV in the VideoDisplay until the Live stream begins which will then cut in. I know this may be a FMS 3.02 config, but any advise would be appreciated... If it is also possible to play an Exit FLV when the live stream stops..that would be a bonus.... Cheers

I'm evaluating the new flash10 text engine. It seems to be very good but does not provide any text input ability. So I decided to build my own TextArea based on this engine. I was able to manage a carret, deletion and insert. Now I'm stuck with focus managment. when I hit UP or DOWN keys, the TextArea goes up and down because the vertical scrollbar receive this event. In Flex Builder, you can just open the index.template.html file in the html-template directory and replace it with the template you want to use. Hi. Im trying to separate overlapping items in my linechart. On a mouseover event the items should slide from eachother updating its y coordinates. and slide back on a mouseout event. I have tried to use mouseMove(e:MouseEvent) with a high sensitivity on the graph, which returns an array of hitdata objects. Is it possible to update the items position without changing the datasource. Any ideas or suggestions on how to implement this function? (sorry for my english)

Cannot for the life of me figure out how to use the FLVPlayback (or anything for that matter) to stream a regular FLV. Any help would be SO helpful!! Hi, Using FMS 3.02 and FME 2.5 is it possible to run a looping flv that the clients can see, before the live stream begins, and when the live stream finishes, an exit flv video plays? cheers
4.CCD Security Camera publishing Live FLV stream?
sweet hello to all, I can publish my 'Live' flv video to my RTMP Server using my webcam(USB), because flash player easily detects my camera and publish live stream. Problem is that, I want to use a Security Camera for this pupose because I can get Good Picture quality and Lengthy wire of course. I want to stream flv video using my CCD Security Camera. But Flash Player does't stream/show live video when i select this camera from Flash Player camera names list. This security camera works fine when i use it with my webcam software or Windows movie maker. please tell, Do i need to install some software or the issue is something else? Also tell me how can i check that my Security Camera is using WDM Video capture Driver or Not?? Regards, Waqas Tariq Dar
5.Streaming live FLV through VOD
I'm trying to develop an application that receives live FLV video through network connection (proprietary protocol) and dumps it on the FMS filesystem. I would like to be able to stream that live video to clients using FMS... I tried to play the video through the VOD application but it seems that the server reads the length of the video when the client connects and won't stream beyond that point. Is it possible to stream live video from a file that's being appended as data is received over the network? I tried by developing custom file plugin to throttle FMS server reads (on end of file conditions) but that won't help ... I also noticed that FMS first reads first ~290K of stream, then last ~290K stream and then starts to read stream sequentially until end of stream size (that was read at the beginning)... Can anyone help?
