We recently upgraded to Office XP from 97. Users are complaining that with Word 97 they received a warning message if they attempted to close the application before printing was completed, but with Word XP there is no warning and printing is canceled. Is there a setting within Word XP for this?

  • 4. printing word doc from multiple trays
I have a word doc that consists of 20 pages, and am trying to print for example: the first page from tray 1, the second page from tray 2, the third page from tray 1.... this would be variable throughout the document. Any suggestions???
  • 5. Multi-Tray Printing
I have an admittedly odd request, but I've heard rumor that it is possible to have Word send pages of a document to different trays of my laserjet 5 printer. For example, consider a 3 page document. Page 1 is printed from tray 1, page 2 is printed from tray 2, and page 3 is printed from tray 1 again. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, how do I set it up? Much obliged. -Mable

The best way to do this is through your printer Properties. Most color
printers have some provision for printing reversed text/images. Check for a
"Mirror" or "Flip horizontal" setting.
