1. video fitting, please help
When i start my program, or a couple others the screen is too large for my moniter, i've tried running the program in 640x480 but theres a loader to the program so it just changes it for the loader, i've checked the folder and there's no other files to change the video proporties, please help Thank You
2. Sidewinder Freestyle Pro
I have the above gamepad, I haven't used this pad for a couple of years now but would like to use it again. The problem is that I have misplaced the software so I went onto the Microsoft site and downloaded V3.02. The other question is that my new laptop is running XP, will the freestyle pro work with XP? I read somewhere that it will but I havent had any success in getting it started. When I try to install the software I get a message saying DirectX Setup Initialization Failed, it then states that it could be an undefined compatibility issue. I then downloaded DirectX V9.0 but still no luck in running. all responses appreciated

did you uninstall all your previous video card drivers? make sure you did out of the ADD\REMOVE PROGRAMS then before rebooting go to the control panel->system- >hardware->device manager->display adapters and delete anything there. reboot and install the 53.03 drivers from nvidia.
4. FREELANCER REMOVAL ISSUE
I have tried again and again to uninstall Freelancer from my PC but it also gets stuck and I have to end the program. Why won't it let me uninstall it?
5. How to create a Socket
Does anyone know how to create a socket, after downloading a game called Elf bowling #1, and when clicking on the 3 bowling pins icon, a mesg. comes up saying "cant create a socket"......help.....thanks

probably not enough info on the subject line for anyone to 
respond.  Rage mobility m1 agp 4.12.1.1018. where do I go 
to get this upgraded through a software file.  I am new to 
these chat things. Please be patient with me.  I am also 
not very savvy with my computer.  Help

usually you go to the manufacturers website for updates. 
in this case check ATI.COM for drivers. usually they are 
located in the support section

i have one. not sure which ver. but its a Windows XP ver. not that old. it has corrected some problems with games. so it worked.
10megs the file is. at ati.com now u can dowload only one driver, catalyst. all in one, but for desktops.

for laptops u need to go to ur laptop's manufacturer's www. like toshiba or sony, etc.

You might need to remove the patch if it has a conflict with your system
(probably video card drivers, update them):

Do a system restore to before the update was applied...or if you are not
running ME or XP (windows 2000?), then you will need to completely remove
the game and install it again, do not install the new patch though.
