I'm fairly new to Photoshop was hoping someone might have a fix for me (Photoshop CS).... I've been working on some very simple gif's, using the same font colour, style and size each time (web site buttons). Tonight when I went to do some work, the font appears thicker and the edges are "fuzzier" than before. Have I accidentally tripped up a setting and not realized it? I would make a button based on one of the previous ones, but all I have saved are gif's, no psd's... Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey All-- I have photos of rectangular objects which are, due to the perspective of the camera, slightly not rectangular in the actual photos. What I'm looking for is an easy way to "square up" these photos, so that the object of interest looks rectangular: ie. 2 sets of parallel sides, 1 set parallel to the horizon, 2 sides perpendicular. I figure there must be some trick or tool that does this real quickly, right? Or should I just use "Free Transform" and fiddle till it looks right? thanks -- |\/| /| |2 |< mehaase(at)sas(dot)upenn(dot)edu

How to change all the black pixels to grey pixels

Postby booklover88 » Tue, 06 May 2008 00:38:27 GMT

Hello,

I have an image (a jpeg file) with black lines, that I want to change
to grey lines. It would take forever to select each of the lines.
Is there a way to use Photoshop (version 7) to change all the black
pixesl to grey pixels ?

Thanks very much,

RW

Can you post a link to the image?

You can try Curves or Replace Color. With care.

You should be able to do it via
select color range
and Hue/Saturation

In article
< XXXX@XXXXX.COM >,

There are two quick ways to do it.

You can select the black lines in about a second using the Color Range
command from the Select menu. But with that image, you don't need to
select the black to make it gray. Just use the Curves command
(Image->Adjust->Curves).

Pico, Dave, Tacit -- Thanks a million, and more.

I have a full load of courses to deal with, but this summer I am going
to do my best to learn more about Photoshop.

Best wishes,

I would like to put an image in a new layer and change all the non

How can I get this done.

2.how to change color of all black pixels in a selection

Hello all.

I wonder, how do I change the color of all x coloured
pixels in a selection to colour y?

Say, I have a part of a layer, in which a feature is
black.

The answer to this might also answer another question
That I have:
Say I have a layer that features only a line of text that
I have been playing with.
(I tend to have a transparent background on the text layers
that I generate, btw, if that makes any difference)

How do I change the colour of the entire line of text?

My approach so far, is a pretty dumb-assed one -
using a bucket fill on every letter.

Thanks.

How to use Pixel Shader to process some fixed pixels of a texture

A book let me to know Pixel Shader could do picture process, such as change
brightness or filter it, which simply treat picture as texture.

All methods, however, is to process whole picture (texture), I want to know
is there a method only deal with fixed pixels of a texture, for example, the
left 20 pixels of a texture.

4.find the pixel with max total distance to a pixel set

Hi, there,

Suppose I have an n*m image. I random selected some points(pixels) in
the image to form a set. How to find the pixel in the image whose
total distance to the points in the selected set is maximum?

Any suggestion will be appreciated,

Xiaoying

5.Single-pixel lines not single pixel

When I draw single-pixel non-anti-aliased lines, adjacent pixels are being
drawn as well. That is, a nearly horizontal line is drawn like this:
......
   ............
            ......

and so forth. Over much of the line, two pixels are turned on. I have seen
OpenGL applications where thin lines are drawn as expected, e.g.,

......
      ......
            ......

Any idea what's causing this? And how to correct it? Thanks.
