    Hi I am experiencing this weird issue with HP iLO. When I hit ctrl+alt+del on iLO there is no response. It shows a black screen with windows screensaver type window that keeps crawling as if a screensaver. Hardware type: HP DL 380 G3 I have checked all over the iLO configuration. Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance, Bipin
  • 2. Its Aliiiive! Scanjet 6100C... software?
    Hi After a house move and having sat gathering dust on my floor for the best part of 18 Months I finally decided to resurrect my trusty 6100C w/ ADF. Having wiped it down, scavenged a SCSI card for it (installing that was fun) and plugged everything in, using the windows scanner and camera wizard in XP (yuck), it would appear that the scanner is working. I remember posting on here about how much I didn't care for the Deskscan 2.9 software, and wondering whether the precisionscan software was any better... problem is I forget where I got the precision-scan software from, I think it was Ben Myers or some other helpful soul that gave me a link to somewhere on HP.... I am of course open to suggestions for other software to use (need to dig out my Photoshop disc) and am rather pleased that the scanner seems to have suffered no ill effects from its time in (rather poor) storage - That said I have not played with my ADF yet :) any and all suggestions appreciated Andrew PS Thankfully this group is still here!
  • 3. Memory upgrade possible for Pavilion 700 w/512 mb?
    I have a Pavilion 700 with a 512 RAM chip in one of the 2 slots (512MB DDR PC2 100). All the sites indicate that 512 MB is the maximum memory, but they also show the 2 compatible chips are 128 MB & 256 MB when my computer came with a 512 MB chip in one slot. They are probably right about the limitation, but I thought I would at least check if that might be old information at those sites. What limits the memory size, the BIOS?
  • 4. ATI Video Card for dv8000t
    Hey all, I am thinking of purchasing a dv8000t series notebook PC from HP. My problem is that I would like a more advanced graphics card than the one which comes with the PC. My "vital" specifications are as follows: Processor.....Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2600 (2.16 GHz) Display.....17.0" WSXGA+ BrightView Widescreen (1680x1050) Graphics Card.....256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600 Memory.....2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB) I am wondering what type of interface this computer would have? If I pick an ATI Radeon graphics card with the correct interface, would I be able to place it in the notebook instead of the nVidia GeForce Go 7600? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have any idea of how I can get XP audio drivers for my HP 752w?
I have no HP supplied software and windows XP Pro does not have the
drivers. I didn't find them on the HP website.

2.need an audio driver for a Pavilion XE824 desktop

I reinstalled Windows on a friend's Pavilion XE824 which he bought used
and didn't have the recovery disks and HP does not sell as a
replacement part. The system came with Win ME but I only had a Win98SE
full system CD. I was able to get drivers for everything but the
onboard sound card which is listed as:
Compatibility = 3-D Stereo, PCI, 16 bit sound
Controller = AMC97 Codec
Location = Crystal Sound chip (on motherboard)

Is there some generic driver that will work with this hardware?
