I have an HP cp1160 printer, and after a recent session where I printed a number of test pages and calibration pages, the printer seems to be stuck in calibration page mode. Everytime I turn it on it prints a calibration page. After every print it prints another calibration page. I can't find a switch in the software that will shut this off. I went to the HP web site and downloaded the latest driver kit and installed it, but no change in the situation. Any suggestions for a way to fix this problem? John

Looking to get a Pavillion multimedia keyboard driver that will enable the volume knob. There are 2 drivers available from the HP website, 1 gives no volume control, the other causes my machine to lock on entering windows... I have checked the archives and this message has come up before, but apparently never answered completely. Please help. I have a customer who is trying to get our DOS application to print to an HP LaserJet connected to a network via JetDirect from a Windows XP computer. We can't do the typical: NET USE LPT1: \\Servername\printername /persistent:yes because there is no servername. When we look at the printer properties for the port, we see "IP_192.168.1.45". If I type: NET USE LPT1: \\IP_192.168.1.45 I get an error message. If I type "NET VIEW \\192.168.1.45" I get an error message. I suppose I need to say that the printer works fine with Windows apps. Unfortunately, I can't easily get all the error message because my client is in another state (while I currently reside in the state of "confusion"). From what I can tell, I may be running into a problem with not being able to communicate with the printer or it may relate to the problem about getting XP to capture a printer port that exists as a physical printer port on the computer. Hello, I'm a newbie to PDAs, but know my way around computers. I have just got a h2210 iPAQ, what is the best way to get it connected to the Internet. I see you can get s secure wireless card. Pavillion 8776c CD R/W will not eject after upgrading to XP
I recently upgraded the OS on my HP Pavillion 8776c from WinMe to XP Pro. Since then whenever I put a CD R/W in it, it will not eject using the hardware button on the front of the CD. If I open Windows Explorer and right click the drive letter, it will allow me to do a software eject. I suspect this is a driver or firmware upgrade problem. However, I am not sure what CD Writer Plus unit I have or where to find the update. Could somebody here help me with it? Thank you.

Look on HP's website re hardware reset, from memory you take all the data cables, cartridges and paper out, switch off at the mains for a few minutes then replace everything and power up.

Recently, due to printhead problems, I printed out many test and diagnostic pages. Now that I've resolved the problems, my HP cp1160 printer doesn't want to stop printing out the diagnostic page. Everytime I turn it on it starts printing the damn page. After every regular print, out comes another diagnostic page! It's the page that tests all the printer pins and the pattern takes a long time to complete. I can cancel it before it prints the entire pattern, but it's still a pain. 2.HP Deskjet 450 - Prints blank pages but Demo page from toolkit prints fine
Printer was working OK, and it will still print Demo Page, alingment pages OK. But will not print test page via windows or any other applications, it simply pulls the paper through and then kicks it out. Tried downloading latest drivers with same results? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
3.laserjet 4200 pages print out of order, prints extra page
When users print to the hp4200 the pages print 2,4,6,5,3,1 for example. It looks like a user preference, but there is no preference for anything like that. Also, a blank page prints when some documents are printed, such as emails and print screens from an AS/400. We checked the seperator page preference, but there wasn't one. Any ideas?

HP Deskjet 820cxi will print a test page fine.. But will not print from anything else. Blank pages only. If you make the first line of a document any color besides black, it will print fine, and will print the rest of the document in black! Chaged drivers... still the same.. tried generic HP deskjet driver, still the same. Happens with notepad as well. Any ideas?

I have a HP7350. What is the best way to determine the level of ink remaining in the cartridge? Is there any description available on what each line in the calibration page means and how to interpret the information ? Thanks.
