2.Kayak XAs 7/500 MT: switch off the I/O fan warning light

Hi,

I've got 3 dual-CPU Kayak's and like them (those are my first dual-CPU
PCs ever and I run OpenBSD on them). However from the one of them
I had to remove the fan and the speaker at the very bottom (facing
front).

Now the small BW LCD-display which should normally show a smiley,
shows the warning about a failed I/O fan and a nearby red light is
blinking.

Is there a way to switch this warning off, as I don't really need that
fan?

I've found nothing in the PhoenixBIOS (which I've up'ed to HU 11.11 US)

Thank you
Alex

5.OfficeJet G95 doesnt go off-hook

Hi,
My OfficeJet G95 FAX won't go off hook before sending dial-digits, or answer
the phone.

I've checked everything - the line, etc. The machine rings when called, but
does not pick up.

Short of replacing hardware, does anyone have any suggestions?

I've spent $32 on HP assistance, to no avail.

TIA
