Hi, I seem to have a problem in recent weeks with websites that have text links as well as my Outlook web access. Links and plain text does not show on websites, when I highlight the text, then I can see that there is actually text, but the links to this text seem to have moved to the left. Additionally my OWA to my work server connects, but when opening a message the To and from is not shown and the text is missing or it is garbled. Any ideas? I use IE6.0 SP1. Thanks.

Ed,
This delay could be several things ....
1) If you are using a Proxy, check your settings
2) Cache files\folders corrupt (see below)
3) Check your machine for parasites (see below)
4) If you are using NAV 2004, check with Symantec (known problem)
Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

Possibly your cache folder is corrupt:

1.How to have Quick Launch linked pages open next to Quick Launch Bar

When a user clicks on a Quick Launch link I've created using FP2k3, I would
like the page to open up just to the right of the Quick Launch Bar.
In FP speak, I think this is the 'Target Frame'. When I create Web Sites
with FP, I usually have the pages associated with the link open in the
'main' target frame. Is this possible using WSS and FP 2k3?

Thanks.

3.windows vista start menu bar/quick launch etc problems

hi i was wondering if anyine could help me. I just bought a new vista

often the quick launch bar and the area where the clock is is going all weird

4.Start Menu and Quick Launch Bar Has Disappeared

This is driving me nuts. Running XP Pro with SP2 and all updates. My start
menu does two things, firstly the 'All Programs' button suddenly starts doing
nothing, I can only right click and explore, it wont open in the start menu,
secondly, the left hand side of the menu will go black, i.e. nothing visible,
and the quick launch toolbar is gone. I have to shutdown and then reboot and
things seem to be ok. But the quick launch toolbar is missing from the
taskbar. I have to go back and add a check mark back to the show quick launch
in the taskbar and start menu properties. There seems to be nothing
particular connected with this issue and everything else seems to be ok.

The computer is completely clean of ad/malware and virus infection, and this
happens randomly, sometimes going for days before occurring.

I did a system file scannow (sfc) no corrupted or changed windows files found.

Thanks very much for your help.
