  • 1. How can I open multiple browsers?
I have currently upgraded to Windows XP Prof. Since the upgrade, I have not been able to open 2 sites at the same time, for example - Yahoo and Msn. I can open yahoo.com, and the sites loads just fine. When I minimize the site, and open a 2ndInternet Explorer browser, It takes over my previous web page. I have tried opening Internet Explorer, and using Control N to open a 2nd browser, and does not work. I have already unchecked Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts... Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Bob
  • 2. IE crashes upon opening
IE and other programs that use IE as a gateway (Media Player/AIM) crash when they try to load a web page. Netscape/Opera work fine. i recently cleaned for viruses/spyware and i think i may have erased something that is causing the problem now. Recommendations?

IE is not displaying some images. It will display some, but not others. I am told that Mozilla Firefox will display all the images, but I haven't tried it myself. I am running XP Home Edition... And I used to be able to see all the images... I recently installed SP2, and now I can't see all images. There is just white space where the image should be, but no box, nor image is displayed. I have disabled the windows firewall. Anyone have a solution?

1.Cannot send or receive email in Outlook or any non-web email clien

Hi,

This is maddening. On 6/9 at 2:11 pm I received my last email in Outlook. I
now get error messages (for all of my email addresses which all come from the
same ISP)saying "connection was rejected by incoming (and outgoing) mail
server" and cannot send or receive any of my POP3 mail.

I have contacted my ISP who has run tests and said it is not their lines
causing the problem. They advised me to run several anti-malware and spyware
programs, which I did (I even followed a program provided by Major Geeks.com)
and everything (Hijack This, Kill2Me, CWShredder, HS Remover, Stinger AV,
About Buster, Avast AV, Spybot S&&D) all showed my system clean.

I just has a crash a few months ago and lost everything and just finished
getting things back to normal. I really don't want to loseit all again. Any
suggestions? Or, perhaps a way I can reinstall my XP without losing all my
software and files?

I will love anyone who can help me with this!!

Thank you,
Mz. Jazz

2.Cannot send or receive email in Outlook or any non-web email c

Joe,
Thanks for trying...yes I did check the settings and they are fine. Also,
it is not Outlook's problem because the problem exists in Incredimail
(another email client) as well.
Anyone with any other ideas??

Thanks,
Mz. Jazz
