Hey All I got one project which can be done by calling up functions in xxxx.tlb (window type library) file, that is no problem. How to use java to access those functions??? I know there are some classes which can be used to access function in DLL file e.g. JAWIN. Is the .tlb file related to one DLL file??? if so, how to locate the DLL file through .tlb file??? Thanks a lot. Steve

1.woz' original "brick out" - source code , paddles

Can anyone point me to the original source code for Woz' Integer BASIC
"Brick Out" game for the Apple II?
(or any Apple 2 BASIC or assembly program listings, for that matter, I
would like to play around with writing some pong type games on the
apple IIe)

Is "Little Brick Out" the Woz version, or is this a later remake?

Also, is there any documentation online on how you would build your
own paddles? I have built paddles for the Atari 2600 which are pretty
easy, you just need to know the pinouts and the potentiometer values.

Thanks

4.Sensitive information in applet source code

Hi group!

I have made an applet which works as a simple FTP client. Its purpose is to
upload files to a server (located at the applet's origin) when the files are
too large for HTTP upload.

The applet is signed and everything, and it works perfectly.

However, one last problem remains to be solved: Where do I store the login
and password used to log in to the FTP server? Right now they are hard-coded
into the source file, but it is very easy to use a decompiler on the .class
file to see every string in the source.

I have heard about bytecode obfuscators, but to my knowledge they only make
it harder to read the code, they do not actually add any security.

Thanks in advance :o)

5.Applet source code

Hello,

I have a big project under Netbeans, actually more than 730 classes. Up
today, I have made compiled my project into a standart Java application. I
need now to make the Applet version of my application (it is a game
creator's runtime, we need the games to run as standart java app, and on the
web)(and later on J2ME). But today I am concentrating on Applets.
Is there a way in Netbeans, to include sources that do not belong to the
project directory? Only a few sources will change between the standart
project and the applet project, and I would not like to keep two sets of
sourcecode for maintenance. So if there was a way to import them from
another project without copying them, this would be fantastic.

Thanks!
