Description: Lending MI & Syndication Analyst Developer



This is Lending MI & Syndication Technology team which provides IT solutions for Lending business across its diverse functions, i.e., Portfolio Management, Loan Syndication, Loan Underwriting and Bond syndication. ABCP Conduit Administration business of the company. There are strategic investment program/projects in progress to enhance the IT solution to match the ever evolving business needs and to address risk, control and data quality issues in processes.



The analyst will be a focal point of contact for the Front Office providing both business and technical support, covering the core syndicate applications used within the Syndication team.



Position Responsibilities:



Help coordinate production maintenance of current project deliverables and ongoing upgrade packages



Continually build and document code to a high standard



Improve the processes for efficiency and reliability



Follow and foster development and maintenance processes and practices of the group



Design and development of financial applications in a project framework



Perform all the typical business analyst tasks such as requirement gathering, requirement analysis, requirement documentation, functional testing etc.



Focus will be more in providing functional solution to business needs, doing functional specification, engaging with Development and QA team members.



Have ownership of the assigned task and be able to handle it independently to its conclusion.



Deliver high quality work in agreed timelines.



Provide analysis as well as solutions to resolve production issues.



May be expected to perform user acceptance test (UAT).



Position Requirements:



Worked in IT industry in Analyst Developer role for at least 3-4 years in the Finance sector.



C#, Unix/Linux experience



Development experience with SQL, ideally Oracle



Experience of OO design principles and techniques



Worked in development projects. The candidate should have performed all typical BA tasks such as requirement gathering, requirement analysis, requirement documentation (BRD/FSD), functional testing and functional support to project team.



Competent enough to provide the functional and high level technical solution to meet the business requirements.



Experience of working within a distributed project team.



Demonstrate good problem solving ability and a proactive approach.



Comfortable talking to business users.



Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust, and confidence in the IT team's kn
