Scope: This technical manager will be responsible for leading a
team of software developers to continually improve software
quality through resolution of defects identified by QA, the
field, etc. This individual is also responsible for managing
the software release procedure that generates software
deliverables to QA and the public. This manager owns
definition of the procedures associated with defect
management. Coordinating defect management across parallel
software development streams is also key aspect of this
manager's responsibilities. New feature software releases
transition into this manager's responsibility through
productization.
