    Every time I close down Outlook Express I receive the following message "To free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages. This may take up to a few minutes." Since I have 30GB of free space on my computer, I don't see a reason to do so. Besides, I'm not sure exactly what this would mean. Is there a way to stop this message from displaying?

Forward emails/Viewing email from another computer

Hi,
   I would like to be able to check my email from Microsoft Outlook on a
different computer. Is this possible? If not, would it possible to have a
copy of all emails forwarded automatically to another email account such as
yahoo or hotmail?

You're advice would be soooo appreciated!
Thanks!

Yes, but only from now onwards (unless you have asked for messages to be
kept on the server for a limited time)

Outlook Express for Mac?
Accounts, specific Mail account, Edit, Options, Leave a copy...

After they have been received, you could set up a Rule;
Any To recipient contains (your email addresses)
Forward to: (Your Yahoo)

1.Rules with forward email, doesnįŽƒ use the default email address as sender

I set up a rule to forward the email to another email address.

When the mail is sent, the default sendfrom email address is not being used,
but other addresses.

I checked to make sure the default sendfrom was applied and it is as when
I create a new email.

However I just discovered a problem with Entourage. When you forward an
email, it doesn't use the default send address either, rather the
alphabetically first address if you have more than one account.

I am not sure if this was done on purpose or it is a screwup.

So the problem can be simplified by saying, forwarding an email doesn't use
your default email address, which in turn won't allow you to create a rule
as above.

3.forward email to internet email address

Hi,

Forwarding emails outside of my domain is blocked on the mail server.

Is there a small application I can install in the desktop that checks
my exchange mail box and forwards it to an Internet email address
using SMTP to sent it?

Ideally that application should be installed as a service and run even
when I am not logged in.
