For some reason, I am no longer able to enter a name in the search field and find a contact. I was able to do this until a couple weeks ago. I can manually search the contact list and find the person I am seeking but I get no response through the search entry. Did I turn something off? DickT

  • 5. BCC issues for Gmail account using Entourage
I am a Mac user using Entourage 2004. I recently switched my email to a Gmail account. I've discovered one problem that I can't seem to rectify. When I email myself or when I BCC myself on a message sent from Entourage (which I do quite often), the message does not come back into my Entourage inbox. If I send the message from gmail thru the gmail site, there is no problem. I'm hoping someone may be able to help me out, suggest certain settings that I need to correct perhaps. I am using Mac OSX 10.4.11 Entourage 11.4 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo If you need more info, please let me know.

Trying to print a monthly calendar now, the print preview shows "November 2009" + 255 more pages. Considering that I am inputing "May 2010". <br>
Tasks are not set to print, just a monthly calendar. <br>
Searches show that this bug has been noticed now for some time, but no fix anywhere. <br>
Please Microsoft. Figure this out! <br>
Entourage is useless if I can't print out a simple calendar

1.Entourage calendar printing issue after Snow Leopard

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

Since installing Snow Leopard, I am not able to print a single month view of my calendar in Entourage. When I try and print a single month (say September), I get the whole history of months in the printout as opposed to a single month (255 pages!).

Has anyone found a solution to this? Frustrating, and I can't seem to find anyone suffering the same issue.

2.BES issue not resolved?

I found this post from 2004 and am experiencing the exact same issue.

Just got a brand new sparkling iMac G5. I love everything about it.
Office 2004 makes it simple to co-habitate with my windows lap top and
other pc users. The Entourage interface is on par or better than
Outlook 2003 in most cases.

The only stinkin problem I have with the Mac/Office/Entourage is that
when I file or delete messages from within my configured Exchange 2003
account via Entourage, my exchange server gets updated (I.e. My Windows
Outlook 2003 machines see the change), but my Blackberry does not. I
just don't get why the exchange server is not communicating the file or
deletion of the message to the Blackberry Enterprise server when the
file or delete is done with Entourage. Everything works fine when I
file or delete a message with Outlook 2003. What is Entourage doing
differently? You would think that as long as the Exchange Server is
being updated, the change would trickle to the Blackberry.
Please, please, please, any help is appreciated.

The follow up was this:

I was told by BlackBerry support in the last week that it has something
to do with the way Entourage strips the header from an email the the BB
serices uses when it syncs with Exchange. So if you mark a message as
read in Entourage it will update the Exchange server and then sync with
your BB, but if you move a message (or delete it) with Entourage it
will update Exchange, but not your BB device.

It sucks that microsoft makes both products with this flaw. It's almost
like they don't want people using BB with Entourage.

Has anything been done to resolve this? I find it very frustrating to
have to clean out orphanned files from my blackberry whenever I've been
using Entourage.

Thanks for any feedback!

3.Calendar time not showing up: Entourage Time Stamp issue

I recently change timezones for a week. So I change Time Zone on in
systems preferences thinking that would update entourage Calendar so meeting
times would be sync to local time. Well that didn work so I did some
research and stated you need to up International format customize and mess
with the setting there. I came back change back to my normal Time zone now
all email receive and sent have the same time stamp, the date I change in
the system preferences International format times customize. See screen
shots below displaying issue

How do I get correct time to so in entourage mail for sent and received

Entourage Version 12.2.0 (090605)

System Software Overview:

  System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.7 (9J61)
  Kernel Version: Darwin 9.7.0
  Boot Volume: Macintosh HD
  Boot Mode: Normal
  Computer Name: xxxxxxx
  User Name: xxxxxxxxx
  Time since boot: 21:09

Another problem that I am having is when I go to schedule event Start and
End Time is missing and not available. If I double click on a specific time
it is still not available but I can increase or decrease duration and when I
send out or save the time that I double click on is correct. Even on
existing events if I double click to open Time is missing.

5.Printing from Entourage Calendar 2004 in List view hangs Entourage

I can print individual entries from Entourage 2004 Calendar without
any problems, but when I try to print from the List view I get the
eternal spinning rainbow and have to force quit Entourage. Is this a
known problem - and is there a fix? I've had the same result on two
different Macs and resinstalled Microsoft Office 2004 on one of them
to try to overcome this problem.
