Does Microsoft have a MAC program that is compatible with MS Window Pub? My office uses Pub extensively and it would be helpful to have something that is compatible with these documents.

I am using Microsoft Office Mac X purchased December 24, 2003. Problem: I have a 250 page document, suddently the first line of each page is indenting and I am having to go to the individual pages to drop the opening line down to eliminate the indent. The only explanation I can think of -- I had originally number the pages, then using the header/footer facility in View Mode, I deleted the page numbers, creating this formatting inconsistency, which is extremely disabling. I tried copying the full document onto another blank document but the formatting carried over. Please help me. Thank you so very much. Robert
  • 4. Any way to change the "Company Name" in my license?
Hi, I just installed Office 2004, which I bought with my own money, but when any of the programs launches it has my employer's name, because it got it from my Address Book when I installed it. Is there any way to change my "Company Name" in the license? I suppose I could do it if I trashed the Microsoft Office folder and reinstalled from the CD, but is there an easier way? Jerry Krinock

Opening a Word file which was previously saved but is now too large

Postby tolstoy13 » Tue, 23 Jun 2009 16:30:53 GMT

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I have been working on a WORD document for several weeks, including images as well as text. I saved the doc as usual, but now when trying to open I get the message that WORD cannot now open the file because it is bigger than 32 megabytes. How can I recover this work?

Any help appreciated!

Since using vista my word document toolbars and colours which actually
surround office document which I always use in print layout (not the page
itself I know how to change colours on the pages etc) all the surrounding
bits are now a purple colour which are not good for the eyes, formerly when I
used office in to try to revert to grey and have noticed that anything
shown on colours which say grey are actually this awful purple colour if you
try them out on your actual document itself I have tried to alter the
framwork of office documents by trying lots of different things e.g.
Format/background in word, display properties, control panel, etc. tried
everything but nothing works to change the colour and appearance of all my
office documents.
I hope that makes sense and would really appreciate it if someone caqn give
me an answer. Thanks.
