I asked Tattoo Vampire the following question... which he snipped: I have shown, conclusively, that Roy repeatedly posts the same information about Apple, Microsoft, their products and their leadership. Do you think it is an acceptable practice to post the same off-topic information over and over? If so you would be the first to say you disagree with my labeled of such practices as off topic and inappropriate. Which is *exactly* as I predicted: Of course, it is 100% predictable that you will not answer the question. You and I both know Roy is spamming, but since he is supported by the self-proclaimed "advocate" crowd you will not stand against him - you do not want to risk their wrath. You will act cowardly and dodge the question. I ended my post to him with: Yes, that is 100% guaranteed. Prove me wrong if you dare. But he did not dare. Of course not. If he thought his trolling was clever and unpredictable I have just proved him wrong. :)

Kerry said that he thought it was the right decision to disarm Saddam
Hussein and that he supported the president when he made the decision
and that he supports the fact that Saddam Hussein was disarmed.

Is that clear enough?

But you somehow assumed that I would be looking towards you of all
people for a clear understanding of Kerry's nature. Why?

Which would be the exact opposite of what he says he'll do, and in fact
is what Bush has essentially done already anyway.

That's why I'm Kerry's friend. Buish's only friends are the super-rich.

Kerry's going to raise taxes by a couple of percent on people who can
{*filter*}y well afford to pay them, and lower them for guys like me who,
without such cuts, have to go without new shoes for five years.

they make. TINY.

You are arguing a minor semantic quibble. The United States is by its
very nature a Democratic Republic. It is a representative democracy.
Deal with it.

Quite true. I just read yesterdays paper here, and the stats show that
those earning around $35k/year pay around 11.2% of their income to
taxes, while those earning around $200k/year pay around 5.4% of their
income to taxes. Of course $3920 from a $35k income hurts more than a
$10,800 from a $200k income.

Yet you can not only see people, even in csma, talk about how people who
earn more pay a higher percentage, you can see others try to defend it.
Look at the recent reply to the "Day in the life of a Republican" thread
where it was claimed that people lose incentive to work more because their
tax rate goes up and they earn less... this is complete hogwash and based on
a very, very poor understanding of the tax code. When I pointed out that
error - and others - I was told it was just meant to make a point and not to
be accurate....

Typical Republican claims: meant to make a point but not be accutate.

That is called a lie...

$200 billion in debt and >1000 more dead servicemen (and >7000 injured
servicemen). I contest your contention...

SH never had the means to attack us, and the weapons being in Syria is
just a dream of right wing fools. You have yet to show even one bit of
evidence that it is so. And, after we finally do leave Iraq, who is to
say the enemy list may yet increase by one again.

Sigh! Assuming the story is correct, it shows absolutely no connection
with the WMD of SH. Believe it or not, WMD (especially of the chemical
variety) are not particularly difficult to make, and any country with
any decent chemical industry capacity at all would also be capable of
making WMD.

Now, come back when you can actually show a link between supposed WMD
in Iraq and the possibility of WMD in Syria.

BTW, I do realize that WMD are a major threat. Even as we speak, North
Korea has announced they have nuclear weapons. With the help of our
good allies, the Pakistanis, who also helped Iran.

The real problem tho, is that the dwindling middle class (below
$40k/year) has to pay the most in taxes. For those making under $20k /
year (pensions and the like) still have to pay, tho not as much, but
makes it even harder to get by on. The taxes seem to be laid on the
backs of those that don't make much. How come someone making only the
bare minimum of $650/month has to pay any taxes? They can't even afford
it as it is.

Exactly... and when people look at the taxes that people pay on their
income, they tend to only count the "income tax" and not the other taxes.
When I have commented on this, folks like ed have shown they do not even get
that concept and jump to the idea of sales taxes.
