Preview app. bug in Panther? No multiple thumnails.

OK, maybe I am just not doing something right, but whenever I use to open a
folder of pics in Jaguar, the drawer in Preview would display all the
thumbnails in that folder.

In Panther, the only thumbnail in the drawer is the one I opened. I've tinkered
with the Preview preferences but cannot fix this. Am I the only one?

Don't know if you're the only one, but it works just fine for me. How
did you open the folder of pictures? I selected a bunch of them and
dragged them to the Preview icon.

Tom, when I select a bunch of photos and drag them to the Preview icon like you
did, it seems to work fine.

I am opening the folder that contains about 20 Preview icons. Then, I just
double-click on a single picture. If I remember correctly, in Jaguar when you
did this, the contents of that folder would automatically show up in the
thumbnail section of the drawer. It does not do that now.

I never saw that behavior in Jaguar, either. This sounds like you're
thinking of recent versions of Photoshop or software that comes with
some brands of cameras.

I guess I was totally wrong on this thing. Something just seemed amiss. I
apologize for the mistake.

Here is what is amiss:

In Jag one could immediately click on forward to view all the previwed images.
In Panth, you must first do a select all...

1.Panther Terminal.app bug

Pre Panther, any Terminal window in which the scroll buffer is
disabled can't be scrolled at all. In fact the scroll bar is removed
altogether in this case. This is very handy when running command line
applications in which Terminal's idea of scrolling makes no sense
(emacs and slrn are examples).

Disabling the scroll buffer in Panther, otoh, does not disable
scrolling if anything is in the scroll buffer already. This is a
problem with saved .term files. If you save a .term file that runs,
say, slrn (to take a random example :) and if one of the saved
settings is to disable the scroll buffer, there isn't any way to
actually prevent scrolling. Very annoying.

5.DW 8.02 on Mac bug - Browser preview prefences

Hi

Since updating to 8.0.2 DW lost its settings for browser previews and asks
that I remove all and add them again.

When I attempt to add them again, I select say Firefox, set it as primary
but it then does not appear in the list.

I have disabled all extensions and am running the latest osx on a mac G5.

Please advise.

Thanks, J
