  • 4. 70-340, Role Based Security question
Hello all, I was reading Tony Northrups book for 70-340/330, p. 5-22 about declarative RBS demands. Here is sample code that I'm concerned with: [PrincipalPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Name = @"CONTOSO\Administrators")] [PrincipalPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Name = @"CONTOSO\User1", Role = @"CONTOSO\Managers")] [PrincipalPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Authenticated = true)] private void AdminOnlyMethod() { // only Administrators can run this code } The book states (summarized): The following code allows any of the following to run the method - 1) Members of the local Administrators group, 2) User named CONTOSO\User1 who is a member of CONTOSO\Managers group, 3) Any authenticated user. My question is that the comment in the method "//only Administrators can run this code" seems to contradict who can run the code based on those 3 conditions above. If "User1" logs in, he can run the AdminOnlyMethod() method correct? Additionally, if "UserX" logs in, who is an authenticated user of "Sales" logs in, he can run the method also - because of the last PrincipalPermission attribute? Thanks for any insight on that, Ron
  • 5. going for MCAD from scratch

The number of questions and duration depends on the exam.

If you look at a past exam or a "braindump", you're cheating.

Hi Ajay,

I dont think its a good idea nor is it possible to find past exam material.
This is a certification to prove that you can handle a situation.
So its worth only if you can think and solve it.

But dont be disappointed.
Get on to MSDN or grab a couple of Books (from Microsoft Press)
MCAD/MCSD Certification All-in-One Exam Guide
by Authors: Marj Rempel , Kenneth S. Lind , Marjorie Rempel

As for the start subscribe to receive the "Question of the day" at
 http://www.**--****.com/ {74E42981-890B-48AC-8
for your preferred subject (exam). They will mail you one question a day.
And by the time you finish learning, you will have a good collection of

After you have gone through the contents.., then its time for you to take a
couple of test/cram exams.
You can take at the same site above. And there are other sites for CRAM
EXAMS too.

So get going.!!!!
