  • 1. pen and paper in the exam - 70-315
Do the testing centres provide you with a pen and paper? I know the exams are PC based, but for some of the longer questions, its really useful to be able to scrawl down notes when trying to figure out what's being asked. I know you can't take anything into the exam with you but does the testing centre provide you with a pen and paper? thanks,
  • 2. VS.NET 2005
Does somebody knows the future of the certification exams 70-305, 70-315, 70-310, 70-316, 70-306, 70-320 once Visual Studio 2005 it in the market? Will they be updated? Or they will be replaced by new exams? What going to happen with MCAD.NET and MCSD.NET credentials obtained before VS.NET 2005?? Is it going to be a migration path? Or they will continue to be valid without passing new exams? I very curious about this subject I was wondering if you can help me. Thanks, -- Juan David Gomez A. IIS problem

Postby om » Fri, 05 Mar 2004 22:27:53 GMT

Hi

Is it getting created under C:/ rather than on
inetpub/wwwroot when using Visual Studio.Net? I also have
the same problem. I believe Visual Studio.Net should
automatically create a virtual directory for the project
when we create a web project. But it is not happening..

Can anyone help us..

IIS problem

a few thoughts here ...

make sure that IIS was installed before you installed
Visual Studio .. this is very important. If it wasn't,
uninstall both, restart, install IIS, restart, then
install Visual Studio.

Visual Studio creates a new virtual directory when you
create a new web project. you have the option to deploy
the application however you wish ... ie: you could create
a virtual directory in IIS, and save the bin folder w/
the .dll, and all the .aspx, .ascx, etc pages in any
folder you'd like C:\test .. then just point the virtual
directory to that folder.

hope that helps ..
Pete
