  • 1. How to COUNT survey repsonses.
    I am trying to query a survey repsonse table called tblMain. It look like this: Name Q01 Q02 Q03 Joe 3 5 6 Jim 4 4 4 John 5 3 3 I am trying to show the number of 3s, 4s, 5s for each question (Q01, Q02, Q03) in a report, but am unsure about how to query the table, WITHOUT having to create a seperate query for each response (there are 14 questions in the real table). Thank you
  • 2. Access2003 Invalid Argument (Error 3001)
    I am trying to make a copy of a table. I highlight the table name, right click my mouse, click Copy, right click again, Click Paste. A box opens where I type in a new name for the copied table and click OK. I then get the message "Invalid argument." When I choose Help, I am told that the error is 3001. I have copied tables before with no problems. Many queries and reports work well with this table so I do not think it is corrupt. I have recently upgraded from Suite2000 to Suite2003. Could there be some "setting" I need to adjust? I created the data base at work where I've had Suite2003 for some time. Any ideas will be appreciated. TIA JohnL

  • 4. SQL query with variable
    I have designed a database where I have many queries that look the same but they each refer to a different table that contains specific client information. I run my queries from a process form that contains an abbreviated name that refers to each client. I am wondering how I can change my query to instead of referring to the table "Terms_BE" I can refer to a variable "Terms _" & [Forms]![MainForm]![AbbrName] INSERT INTO Terms_BE ( SubSSn, MBRSSn, Rel, [Employee_First Name], [Employee_Middle Initial], [Employee_Last Name], EffDate, TermDate, Field21, Expr1 )

    In a query - How do I exclude the records that contain a NULL in a particular column. I am not summing on this field (column), I just want to exclude those records.

I am new at this and very frustrated.  Where or How to get to an Outlook 
Express Newsgroup?  Is this something I can access since i joined passport?

How do I turn this off?  The fax numbers are all entered in the correct 
field and show normally in all contact views.  This is bizarre and no one i 
know using outlook has this problem...

3.Why am I getting an "unspecified error" when I try to send with O. 

I have been trying to send a message from my hotmail account using Outlook. 
(part of Office 2003)  Everytime I hit send a box comes up that just says 
"unspecified error".  I've tried sending to my other hotmail address, my 
yahoo account, and a friends yahoo account to see if maybe it was a problem 
with the send address.  

I can receive mail with no problem, I just cant' send.
