  • 2. showing results from combo box in form
I have put in a ComboBox to select the meet. The ComboBox has 4 fields - 1) MeetID, 2) Date, 3) HomeTeam and 4) VisitingTeam. This works nicely to show the meets and for me to select the appropriate meet. But when I select meet #1 which was 5 May 2005 with Snider hosting Wayne, I only get to see the 1. How can I establish other 'textboxes' to continue to show the date, HomeTeam and VisitingTeam. The ComboBox looks at the table MEETS. Thank you for your help.

I am running: O/S - XP Prof SP2 Access - 2003 SP1 Machine - 2.4 Ghz Celeron, 480 mb Ram Database version 2002 As soon as I go in to report design view all of Access suddenly goes in to 5 to 8 second response time to all mouse actions and keystrokes. • 5. Why SP doesn't execute? (Urgent)
Hi, I have quite frustrating situation with following code which executes SP with @Param (int): DoCmd.RunSQL "EXEC ProcAppend " & Me.Id.Value Before this code I update some table with Me.Id.Value and it is ok so it means that parametar value is sent. Also, when I execute this SP manualy and enter parametar it works fine. I should mention that this code worked fine and stops without any reason! Anyone has some idea? Regards, Mirnes Lemes

Access Form Question

Postby David Dennis » Mon, 15 Sep 2003 04:41:51 GMT

I have a medical database form which seems to move down
the page in print preview when each additional form is
viewed. I have changed the size of the section many
times, adjusted the column size, and generally tried
everything that the MS knowledge base suggests to no
avail. Can someone out there suggest a solution. Any
help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

3.Calling Word from within a Access form Question

I have a program that extracts a file to a directory and then calls Word up where I can then do a merge for labels. This was working fine until I did a dumb thing and tried to make it automatic. There was some code that someone pointed me to that showed how to make the merge run when word was called up. This worked fine on my machine but when I sent the update out to the people that use the program some worked and some caused funny errors, like when doing a regular report the date /time stamp on the reports showed up as ?date ?time. I have decided to remove this from the program as it seems to be causing more problems that good. I have remove the code from the program but now when I call up word I get a message that reads "Opening this document will run the following SQL command "Select * from C:\program files\cowboyextracts\ribbonlabels.txt" Data from your database will be placed in the document. Do you want to continue? Yes No. You answer Yes and the word will start with the label template on the screen. I can then go in and do the merge like I used to do. My question is how do I get away from that message? If anyone can help me I promise not to mess with something that is working again

Thanks
Tom

5.Access Form Question

Ok, I am sure this is a simple problem. But noone here
seems to know the answer. I have a form connected to a
single table. I have entered information into this form
and it shows up correctly in the table. However, after I
close the form, and access and start it up again later,
the information already in the table does not show up in
the form. I can not scroll through the different entries
that I had previously made.

Is there some toggle or something that I forgot to
activate?

Thanks.

Erik
