I have not been able to locate an answer for my Excel annoyance. Why is it that when you go to Format Cells --> Alignment --> Text Control that the Shrink to Fit checkbox is sometimes grayed out? Is there some sort of global control that prevents this, or is it more mundane? Thanks for the help. -- jzapatka

It happens 100% of the time. I have tried a new file with the same results. Subsequent to my positng I did see another thread where someone indicated that what appeared to be the same problem was solved by removing an SAP Business ONE Office Integration Add-On. I have this same Add-On installed, so I will be following that path to see if I can get a resolution to the problem. Thanks "Otto Moehrbach" wrote: > Is it just one file doing this? • 5. Where did my Cyrillic font go?
When I installed Excel 2003 as an upgrade to Excel XP, I lost my cyrillic font. I actually had one called cyrillic.ttf, but it diasappeared. Now, everything that I had typed with that font appears in english jibberish and is useless. Does anyone know where my font went and how to get it back. I have the Russian laguage enabled on my PC, and I can see cyrillic writing on the web, but it does not appear to be available in Office 2003. Thanks in advance for your help.

My wife has a large book collection the she keep track of in Excel. She wants
to have the colors of titles of book different from title of series and or
author. Is there a easy way to do this other than changing the font color
every time. The color she wants is not in the standard color pallet. Any info
would help

You can set up any of the colors in a workbook palette for any color you want, then use it
for font, cell fill, etc. Tools - Options - Color. The changed color will be part of the
paletter for only this workbook.

You can use conditional formatting to change the font color after you've set up the colors
you want to have available.

I think that will be easier that what she wanted. Her original plan was
trying to figure how to have her color of choice in the standard colors in
Excel07. This way she will be able to just up date the whole cell with all
the formating options she needs

1.Dropdown list for font size, font type and number formats

I have a userform which I want to put three combo box
controls onto. I want to be able to display:

1) All the font sizes currently in the file
2) All the font types currently in the file
3) All the number formats currently in the file

Is the only way to do this involve looping through each
sheet and cell and loading them into an array and make
adustments for redundant entries? Or is there a faster
way to do this through some sort of API call?

Thanks

2.How do I view toolbar with font color, font size, etc in Adobe 8

Using Adobe Acrobat 8 - I was inserting text boxes into a document, at one

3.Change font and/or font size in headers, footers and body via VBA

Greetings:

Having major formatting problems when trying to run my Windows based W/B's
on a Mac.
It appears that the only way I can resolve the problems is to change the
font sizes (and likely also the column width settings) on a per SHEET basis.
To do this effectively, I'm hoping there is a way that code could be used to
"read" existing font size, then decrease it by ONE point.
Once actual font size required is determined, the code would be adjusted to
do its required changes in one run thru.
Require (adjustable) changes to: Header, Footer and (active) Body of
worksheet.

In order to (hopefully) help expedite this problem, I'm changing all my
windows based masters to use only the Arial font group.

Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
