I would like to use Excel for my Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) needs. Any suggestions on how to get started or a link to a site that has the formulas or VB codes needed to get this done and working properly?

Hi I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I have a worksheet that is based around order numbers issued to staf members. I want to sort this worksheet so that the numbers are displayed i order. My problem is that we issue straight 4 digit numbers, but als variations of these orders ie. 1234-01. I want my column to read like this; 1234 1234-01 1234-02 1235 1236 1236-01 and so forth. Tricia Young - One possible way to get started is to browse to Google and search for "excel material requirements planning" (without the quotes). There are "about 1,210,000" links, and maybe one of them may be useful. But, if you've already done the search, and none of those results are satisfactory, please provide more details. 5.combining bar diagrams for capacity planning
Hi, I am trying to display the following information in one combined bar diagram: 1. the value for the available total capacity: this value should be displayed as 100% in a bar. 2. the value for capacity already reserved: this value should be disblayed in comparison to value 1. 3. the value of the required capacity for the actual work order that needs to be planned: this value should be visualized additive to value 2.
