  • 1. Exporting messages into Vista Windows Mail
Hi, Does anyone know how I can export all messages and folders from Outlook Express 6 on my old XP computer to Window mail on my new Vista computer. So far I've copied all of my .dbx files onto my external hard drive but I don't know if and how to import them into my new operating system. Or is there a much easier method and I'm going around things totally the wrong way? Thanks for any help. Sonars UK

I'm running OE6 on 98SE. I can delete mails from all folders e.g. Inbox, Delete items etc except the Sent folder which is filling up fast. I even tried deleting the Sent folder by going to File then Folder but delete isn't highlighted as an option. Help please!
  • 4. Anway to use Outlook Exp from an external drive ?
I travel quite a bit and would prefer not to take my laptop all the time. I've got an External Hard drive that I keep all my stuff on and it's convenient to just take it along and plug into someone else's laptop where I'm at. The only drawback is that I don't have my e-mails that I have saved for flw up's, etc. Would be nice if I could somehow use my Outlook Express from my External HD rather than the laptop's HD. Any ideas???? Thanks !
