Hallo, I have IE 6.0 plus SP1 and OE 6.0 installed. OE is may standard mail client. I had usedoutlook in teh past on the same computer. I can browse the internet with IE and send emails with OE. But I can't send emails directly from links starting mailto: on web pages. Whenever I try this, I get the message: Can not send email, because the standard mail client is not correctly installed. (The original error message is in German). What is the required action to get remove this problem. Best Regards Hans

Secondly, you MUST also copy the file called folders.dbx to be able to do an import. Once you have done all that, in OE do a File-Import. - 3. Reply address
I have a number of email accounts set up on OE6 Obviously one of them is set as my Default. When I create a new mail it works perfectly. But when I reply to emails that have been sent to me, it's not my default "from" address that appears but one from another of my accounts. I have to choose and alter to get to my default account -- and sometimes I forget, which is very annoying and potentially embarassing. Is there any way of making every Reply mail have my default "from" please?

5.Standard e-mail client not good installed
If I click an e-mail adress in an URL than I see the message "the Standard e-mail client is not good installed" Ik have tried to look in HKEY_local_machine\software\clients\Mail\Outlook Express to see if the MSOE.dll is present, but I cannot see a fault. What can I do, please help Grijze Duif
