I have tried to use Business Contact Manager, but any time I set up a file (through the Outlook Profile Manager) Outlook will not come up. If I remove the BCM database from the profile it works. I have heard numerous people post that they have this error with Outlook continuously crashing after installing BCM, but I haven't found any posted solutions. I have Small Business Accounting, Visual Studio 2003 and Visual Studio 2005 installed. I have service pack 2 for SBA and BCM installed. Does anyone know what causes this and how to get this product to work?

Anyone know of a way to synchronize a contact within Outlook to a like entry in Business Contact Manager (BCM). Several of my friends arealso business contacts. If my friend changes his phone number, I'd like to be able to mack the change ONCE in eihter Outlook Contacts OR in BCM and have the changed data on one database schronized with the older info in the other database. I know that I can basically do the same thing by copying a single contact or an entire databases from one to antoher but the risk of overwriting data you want to keep is high.

should i use contacts or the BCM to track initial sales leads

Postby QmlnVHVuYQ » Sat, 30 Jan 2010 05:21:02 GMT

I'm looking to track intial (first touch) telemarketing leads. Track a
contact, notes, call backs and potential meetings. Should I track these
"leads" as a contact or as a business contact? Should i use contacts for just
friends and non business contacts? i'm looking for insight into both the use
of contacts vs business contacts as well as the best way to start tracking
sales call, notes and meetings prior to them realy becoming a business
opportunity, a sale and a client.

2.BCM Import Sales Leads from bCentral

Has anyone got any advice, information or otherwise on the File/Import/bCentral Sales Leads importing? I would like to import BCM Opportunities on the fly into BCM Accounts/Contacts and was considering perhaps writing a little VBA to do such a thing. If bCentral can do the same thing and the software is written, I may need to consider that. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you

5.Sharing BCM contacts within Workgroup, Leads and Projects

Hi There!

Is it possible to acess some contacts in my workgroup?

I would like to share some contacts in order to work together with my
commercial team. That way we could look to some share leads and projects, and
do some follow up together.

Is this possible?

If yes, only with same version? Different versions together? etc.
Thanks in advance!
