cann't upgrade my office SME (Including outlook with BCM)

Postby TW9zaGU » Tue, 20 Jan 2009 18:43:01 GMT

I am trying to upgrade my office SME (Including outlook with BCM) from 2003
to 2007, it won't install BCM -
The steps performed:
 1. I have first installed the trail version over the 2003 and
have it work without upgrading outlook to 2007 (remained 2003 with BCM)
Office 2007 worked fine.
 2. Once I decided to have a full move, I have downloaded my Open
licensed install files and installed them over the version I had. Then I
removed outlook 2003 and installed Outlook 2007. The next step was to install
BCM.

the message I received:
"Setup failed to install Business Contact Manager for outlook 2007. See
c:/?../MBSsetuptmpe3A5.log for more details?

The following is the log file:

I have repeated this attempt several times.

Whenever I?m trying to remove the BCM (uninstall) I receive the following
message:
?Setup failed to remove the following product: Business Contact Manager for
Outlook 2007?

The product that I have installed is:
SW_CD_Office_Small_Business_2007_W32_English_1_PA_BP_MLF_X12-19200.EXE

And the BCM version is:

SW_CD_NTRL_Business_Contact_Manager_2007_W32_English_X13-05848.EXE

I'm struggling with this issue for several weeks and it hurts my business.
Please help ASAP.
Thanks,
Moshe

2.Upgrading MS Office 2003 SME with MS Office 2003 Pro Upgrade Disk

I bought an Office 2003 Pro upgrade disk a couple of years back. A new user
has just started at the company with a Vista Business laptop running Office
2003 SME. I have both disks and packages and licence keys. Yet the Upgrade
will not recognise the SME version. (it won't even recognise an Office 97
Pro disk for that matter) and throws and error before aborting.

Can anyone advise if this is a function of Vista Business, or Office SME.
For the record all my other users were upgraded from Office 97 Pro to 2003
pro via the same method without hitch (on XP pro). I have downloaded Office
2003 SP3 in readiness, assuming I can get the soft3ware to upgrade in the
first place.
Any thoughts, please?

3.Cann't export report toexcel on BCM 2007

4.Upgrade Office 2K to include Outlook 2003

I have a central install point for Office 2000 which I set up with the
custom installation wizard. I now want to upgrade Outlook to 2003 and I
can't figure out how to get that done. I can use a wizard again to create
an mst for the Outlook msi, but it doesn't ask me for a license key during
that process and the end user ends up being asked for it. How do I avoid
this?

Is it possible to recreate the Office 2000 setup, but to include the
information in the Outlook msi... but with the license key? Or some other
way?

Thanks for any suggestions?

This used to be possible before, but I can't seem to find it in 2007 and in
BCM.
I want the document to automaticly be registered under communications - just
